Job Summary
The ACT Substance Use Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive mental health and substance abuse treatment within a multidisciplinary team, requiring a Master's or Doctoral degree in relevant fields and significant experience in behavioral health.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or doctoral Degrees in Nursing, Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, or Psychology
- Must be licensed to practice in the state in which the program is operating
- Minimum of three years of post-secondary school education working in the field of behavioral health treatment
- 1 year of providing substance use disorder treatment in an outpatient, inpatient or community-based setting
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent written and oral skills communicating in English
- Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office Products
Additional Requirements
- Must have ACT training within six months of hire
- Valid Driver’s License required
